H-FARM College Italy: Where College, Startups, and Technology Meet

A Campus Like No Other in Europe

A short drive from Venice, H-FARM College sits inside a striking, 51-hectare campus that blends university learning with a live startup and innovation scene. H-FARM describes itself as the only place in Europe where education, technology, and entrepreneurship truly coexist—by design. The result is an environment where students move seamlessly from classroom theory to real projects, company challenges, and venture ideas on the same grounds.

Degrees Designed for the Future

H-FARM College offers three-year Bachelor’s and one-year Master’s degrees taught fully in English. Programs are organized around two macro-areas:

  • Digital Business & Management
  • Innovation & Technology

This structure reflects the College’s mission: to equip students with the skills needed for success in a fast-changing, tech-enabled economy.

Academic Partners and Programs

Partnerships anchor the academics. Bachelor’s degrees are designed with the University of Chichester (UK) across business and tech pathways, while Digital Management is delivered with Ca’ Foscari University of Venice. Within Innovation & Technology, the College launched AI & Data Science in collaboration with Microsoft Italia, underscoring its emphasis on emerging fields.

Bachelor’s degrees include Digital Management, International Business Studies, Business Creation & Entrepreneurship, Marketing & Global Commerce, Information Systems Management, Software & Cloud Architecture, and AI & Data Science.

At the Master’s level, students can pursue degrees in Digital Marketing & Data Analytics, International Business, Digital Transformation & Entrepreneurship, or Design & Communication, co-designed with industry partners like Fujifilm.

A Hands-On Learning Model

Campus life is built to extend learning beyond lectures. H-FARM emphasizes experiential projects with companies, guest talks, hackathons, and a structured career service (including a campus Career Day), alongside a “learning on the job” ecosystem – student-run media, ambassador roles, and a consulting agency.

An Entrepreneurship & Startup Center, leveraging H-FARM’s 15+ years of acceleration experience, connects students to H-FARM’s roots as a venture builder, providing a direct link to industry mentors and startup networks through their Global Accelerator Network

The setting itself—parkland facing the Venetian Lagoon, with sports and student facilities—reinforces the sense of a complete residential learning community.

Foundation Year: A Pathway Into H-FARM

For students who do not yet meet entry requirements, H-FARM recently launched a Foundation Year. This one-year, English-medium program focuses on business and management fundamentals while strengthening academic and language skills. Students need to be 18+ and demonstrate at least B1 English proficiency. Upon completion, graduates can move directly into a bachelor’s program at H-FARM.

Summer Programs: A Test Drive of H-FARM

H-FARM also offers a variety of summer experiences for high school and university-age students. Options include the Summer Startup Bootcamp, courses on AI & the New Fashion Value Chain, Marketing & Branding in the Digital Age, and international experiences like the Innovation Journey to Silicon Valley. The MAGICA Summer School brings together students aged 18–24 for sustainability, entrepreneurship, and prototyping projects.

These programs offer younger students a taste of H-FARM’s project-based learning environment and an opportunity to explore campus life in Italy.

Tuition Fees and Scholarships

Tuition at H-FARM College depends on whether the study program is delivered in partnership with Ca’ Foscari University of Venice or with the University of Chichester (UK) and also on the student’s residency status (EU vs. non-EU). For programs run in collaboration with the University of Chichester (UK), tuition is higher for non-EU students, while EU students pay a reduced rate. Programs with Ca’ Foscari University of Venice follow the Italian university fee structure, with international applicants managed through Ca’ Foscari’s own admissions office and scholarship opportunities.

H-FARM’s Digital Management bachelor’s program (in partnership with Ca’ Foscari) has a published fee of €8,606 for the academic year 2025/26. However, international non-EU students may need to work with Ca’ Foscari’s international student / welcome unit for enrollment, scholarship, and administrative matters. Students considering this program should therefore check directly with Ca’ Foscari’s international office for the most accurate and up-to-date information.

For the H-FARM/University of Chichester programs, tuition fees differ for EU and non-EU students. At the bachelor’s level, tuition is currently €11,800 for EU students and €18,700 for non-EU students. At the master’s level, the fees are €15,500 for EU students and €26,350 for non-EU students.

To help offset costs and make study more affordable, H-FARM offers the Global Talent Grant, a merit-based scholarship specifically for non-Schengen students. Awards are based on the strength of a student’s application and can cover anywhere from a partial reduction up to a very significant share of tuition fees.

Application Process and Housing

The application process at H-FARM College depends on whether the program is delivered in collaboration with Ca’ Foscari University of Venice or with the University of Chichester (UK).

For the Digital Management BSc (Ca’ Foscari collaboration):

  • EU and Italian students apply directly through H-FARM College.
  • Non-EU students apply through Ca’ Foscari’s International Welcome Unit, which manages admissions and fees for international candidates. It is recommended that students prepare their application at least six months before the intended start date and reach out to the Welcome Unit for guidance.

For University of Chichester programs, all students (EU and non-EU) apply directly through H-FARM College’s admissions portal. The process generally includes:

  • Submitting academic transcripts and proof of English proficiency (minimum B2 level, though Foundation Year applicants may enter with B1).
  • Uploading a short motivational video (1.5–3 minutes) introducing yourself and explaining why you are applying.
  • Completing an online motivational interview with faculty before admission is confirmed.

Entry requirements vary by educational system. For U.S. applicants, this means a high school diploma with a minimum GPA of 3.0 plus either SAT, ACT, or three AP exams. IB diploma holders must have at least 26 points, including a 4 in Math and a 4 in English.

Housing is guaranteed for all first-year students in student residences within walking distance of campus. These dorm-style facilities are fully furnished and designed to help new students integrate quickly into campus life. From the second year onward, many students choose to move into shared flats or apartments in the local area. H-FARM’s housing office continues to provide support throughout this transition, ensuring that international students can find suitable accommodation and settle in smoothly.
